Sunshine Coast Community Forest (SCCF) is a logging company 100% owned by the District of Sechelt with tenure of 10,510 ha divided into three operating areas: Halfmoon Bay, Wilson Creek, Angus.

The tenure also includes the Gray and Chapman Drinking Watersheds which is currently out of bounds to logging plans.

On this page are found several maps examining SCCF’s forestry planning for public viewing.

They are produced by Applied Conservation GIS (a 3rd party GIS analyst) for ELF.

Some of these maps examine specific cutblock planning and other ones are more general looking at the Conservation Reserve (CN), SCCF’s claim of a 900% increase in old-growth due to areas they have set aside in the CN, and annual allowable cut issues.

For everything pertaining to an analysis of current SCCF operations this page is a good resource. If you have any questions email us at: loggingfocus@gmail.com
